Party Animal!

"Jack just wants to party all the time, party all the time....."

The J Crew, aka Jack (and his friend) Jude celebrated their first birthdays on Saturday. The party was lots of fun, even if the weather was a bit chilly for swimming. Jack danced (as seen above), played at the water table, played on the playground, played with friends, destroyed his personal birthday cake, got covered with icing, got hosed down in the backyard, got bathed in the kitchen sink and crawled and walked all over the place...including through mounds of torn wrapping paper-all without taking a single nap OR getting cranky!!! He is already quite the little party animal! Our thanks go to the Robinson Clan (Jude's family) for openining their doors and hosting the party, to Grandma for making The Rice, and to all the friends and family who came to celebrate this special milestone with us. While Jack won't remember his first birthday party, the scores of pictures we took will let him know when he is older how loved and cherished he was.... not to mention messy! (see below...)
