"These feet are made for walking. That's just what they do...."
Well, as of May 6, 2008, the Jack-man is officially a walker. I guess he has moved from being an infant, to being a "toddler" since he is now "toddling" everywhere. I love watching him walk. He is still in that first, hesitant stage. If he gets excited about reaching a toy or a person and tries to go fast, he will fall on his butt and switch to crawling. I've taken about a thousand pictures of him, and no, I am not exagerating. I know that these days are precious and I'm trying to capture as many as I can for future reference. Sniff, sniff.... Whatever did we do before digital photography? Honestly, between Jack and Jayce, I took over 300 hundred pictures just ONE day this weekend!Little Sluggers

Now that Jack is walking, he and cousin Jayce are more prone to playing together. Jayce has been playing t-ball in his backyard with uncle Paco now for a few weeks and Jack was facinated watching him hit the ball off the tee.
My Turn!
After watching Jayce slug a few, Jack decided to give it try. He actually hit two balls in a row before he lost interest and decided to walk away and chew on the bat instead.... (see below)
Do it like this, Jack!

At 16 months, Jayce is quite the little slugger already. Of course, those of us who grew up with Paco are not surprised since he was an all-star baseball player since age 4. Hmm, do you think these two will end up playing on the same little league team with Paco as coach??????
